DP9 Diver began with a passion for diving. Through courses, outings and the people we meet, it has grown into an adventure shared by a team and a whole community.
I discovered diving at the age of eight. That passion for the underwater world has stayed with me ever since. With DP9 Diver, I chose to turn it into a project to share.
I founded DP9 Diver in Luxembourg in January 2023. Today, the project brings together a dive school, advice on choosing equipment and a community that meets through outings and dive trips.
I help both beginners and certified divers develop their skills. My approach is to take time to explain, adapt the support provided and keep the enjoyment of diving at the heart of the experience.

The DP9 Crew brings together the professionals who help run the school and support dive outings. You meet them on site, preparing the day, accompanying divers and bringing the DP9 spirit to life.
Based in Luxembourg, Matteo is a Flight Dynamics Engineer. His working days involve flying satellites and calculating their manoeuvres in orbit. His passion is exploring the underwater world.
Originally from Italy, he was part of Denis’s very first Open Water student group in 2021. Now a Divemaster with the DP9 Crew, he supports divers and shares the joy of discovery.
Claude, also known as Klot, discovered scuba diving on an introductory dive in 2006. Since then, his passion has taken him around the world, bringing memorable encounters and experiences both underwater and on land.
A calm and attentive Divemaster, he shares his discoveries with a sense of humour. Watching marine life, taking time for a photo and respecting the reef and its residents are all part of how he dives. His favourite reward is seeing the group surface with a smile.
Clément has lived in Luxembourg for several years. His diving journey began when his wife gave him an introductory dive with Denis. He continued his training with DP9 Diver, building the technical knowledge that has accompanied him on dives around the world.
Fascinated by how the human body responds to pressure, he sees every dive as an opportunity to learn. Stepping outside his comfort zone, discovering something new and continuing to grow are what keep his passion alive.
Marco started diving in Luxembourg, a country better known for banks than barracudas. Curiosity then took him to the Red Sea, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean and Central America, where he encountered turtles, sharks and colourful reefs.
Back in Luxembourg, this Divemaster brings the same enthusiasm and sense of humour to the water. For him, diving is fuelled by great people, shared experiences and the simple joy of being underwater. That adventure can begin close to home—even in Luxembourg.
As a teacher, Sophie loves inspiring curiosity and helping others grow. She has been diving since 2018 and began her training with Sub Aqua Club Wiltz in Lac de la Haute-Sûre. That desire to keep learning follows her underwater and into everyday life.
She has joined two manta ray research expeditions with Manta Trust, in the Maldives and Raja Ampat, Indonesia. By helping collect scientific data, she contributed to the protection of critical marine habitats. Discovering and respecting the natural world are at the heart of her diving.
Sharing practical information, organising the meeting point and taking the programme and required certification levels into account.
Being present throughout the outing, encouraging communication and contributing to attentive supervision.
