How much does a diving course cost?
The Try Scuba baptism is €75. The Open Water Diver course (full certification) costs €780. Specialties start from €400. Our prices are among the most competitive in Luxembourg.

Do you need to know how to swim to start diving?
Yes, basic comfort in the water is necessary. Before each class, we assess your aquatic fitness to ensure your safety and comfort.

In what languages are the courses given?
Denis teaches in French, English, German, Italian and Luxembourgish. No language barrier with us!

How long does Open Water Diver training last?
Allow about a few weeks between theory (online via SSI), pool sessions and dives in the natural environment. The pace adapts to your availability.

What certification do you issue?
We are affiliated with SSI (Scuba Schools International), a globally recognized organization. Your certification is valid anywhere in the world, for life.

Do you have to buy your own equipment for classes?
No, all equipment is provided during training — wetsuits, regulators, vests, fins, masks. You can then purchase your own equipment in our store if you wish.

How many students per lesson?
We favor personalized teaching with small groups (maximum 4 to 8 students), to guarantee individual monitoring and optimal progress.

🌍 Diving Trips & Trips

Do you organize diving trips?
Yes! We regularly organize local outings and trips to sites in Germany and Belgium (lakes, deep pools), 2-3 hours drive from Luxembourg.

How does a day trip work?
Meet at the starting point, carpool ride (max 4 passengers, vehicle insured via Baloise), dives on site, and return at the end of the day. Expect between €50 and €65 per person (excluding equipment rental).

Do you offer multi-day trips?
Yes, we organize multi-day trips — for example our annual “DP9 Diver & Buddies” trip to Santa Maria di Leuca in Italy. Accommodation is booked through Booking.com (hotels with breakfast). Costs (accommodation, fuel, dive sites) are the responsibility of each participant.

Do you have to be certified to participate in the outings?
For outings in a natural environment, yes — a minimum Open Water Diver certification is required. For pool outings, beginners are welcome.

Is equipment provided for outings?
We offer full equipment rental, including Teknodiver drysuits for cold water dives (€100/day). You can also use your own equipment.

🇱🇺 Diving in Luxembourg

Can you really dive in Luxembourg?
Absolutely! Luxembourg offers lake diving opportunities (notably Lac de la Haute-Sûre) and we have access to swimming pools for training. It's an excellent starting point, and the proximity to Germany and Belgium opens up access to many sites.

Where is your base?
Our diving base is in Helmsange, on 180 m² — with classroom/showroom, maintenance workshop and storage for around 20 complete sets of equipment. We can accommodate up to 9 divers simultaneously.

Is diving in cold water possible?
Yes, and it’s even a specialty! We offer the Dry Suit course and have Teknodiver suits specially designed for the cold waters of our region. Diving in winter is a unique experience.

Which diving sites are accessible from Luxembourg?
In addition to local sites, we regularly dive in Germany and Belgium — lakes and quarries 150-250 km from Luxembourg, a 2 to 3 hour drive. Each site offers different experiences: visibility, depth, wildlife.

Is there a community of divers in Luxembourg?
Yes! Join our WhatsApp group “DP9 Diver & Buddies” to stay informed about upcoming releases, special offers and to meet other enthusiasts.
