Cressi Kuwae Multi Thickness 4+3+2 mm Wetsuit ššāļø: a one-piece suit designed for open water swimming and training, with a design inspired by the underwater caldera of Kuwae (Vanuatu archipelago, South Pacific). The coral-colored upper part, reminiscent of volcanic lava, is not just for style: it was chosen to provide maximum visibility on the surface, a real plus for safety in open water.
The Kuwae was entirely developed with 3D modeling software dedicated to wetsuits, optimizing the cut and material placement on virtual mannequins. This approach improves R&D while reducing physical samples, with a positive environmental impact.
Thanks to its super-elastic materials and its multi-thickness construction (4/3/2 mm), the wetsuit promotes buoyancy and helps the swimmer achieve a more stable and efficient trim on the surface. Thinner areas improve fit in the arms and armpits and ensure total freedom of movement.
Specific inserts complement the performance:
Ribbed wrist insert: helps move more water during the crawl, for a more efficient pulling sensation.
New low collar: designed to prevent chafing on the neck while maintaining good sealing against water infiltration.
Internal underflap: customizable area (name) and a pocket for a key (transport/car, etc.).
YKK back zip: waterproof and durable, with an anti-corrosion metal slider for greater robustness during pulling.
