Cressi ā Maui Fins
Cressi Maui Fins (Made in Italy) š®š¹šš¤æ: adjustable (open heel) snorkeling fins designed to combine lightness, ease of use, and true performance, even for people with less trained legs. Their weight and dimensions make them easy to transport and store, without sacrificing propulsion.
The Maui benefit from an advanced design based on "finite elements" technology (first used on the Impulse and Sprint models). The blade uses bi-material technology: two rigid side wings channel water flow towards the central area, where a softer, elastic material provides flexibility. The fin thus flexes to create a "spoon effect," generating efficient thrust with less effort.
They can be used barefoot or with thin socks. The elastic EBS strap is covered with a fabric that helps protect the elastic elements over time. The heel is made of soft, anatomical rubber, and the donning handle wraps around the ankle to limit friction points and prevent irritation while swimming.
Even though the EBS already offers great adaptability and very simple donning, Cressi has added a cleat on the strap to allow for micro-adjustments (depending on whether socks are worn or not) and for easy tightening/loosening: the foot remains well supported, without excessive pressure.
For dive centers, the heels can be color-coded by size to facilitate identification.
š Comfortable, adjustable, and high-performance open heel fins, perfect for recreational snorkeling, travel, and intensive use.
