The SSI – Indoor Diver course is the easiest and safest way to discover scuba diving in a controlled, comfortable, and warm environment.
You learn the basics of diving in a swimming pool or indoor basin, accompanied by Denis, an SSI instructor with over 28 years of experience.

Who is this course for?

Ideal if you:
  • Have never dived and want to safely try diving
  • Are not yet sure if you want to go directly for an Open Water certification
  • Prefer to start indoors, without waves, currents, or cold
  • Want to learn with a patient, local, and available instructor in Luxembourg

What you will learn

During this course, you will discover:
  • How the diving equipment works (BCD, regulator, tank…)
  • How to breathe and move underwater with complete peace of mind
  • The basics of buoyancy to avoid ascending/descending too quickly
  • The underwater communication signs
  • The essential safety rules for you and your buddy
Everything is done step by step, at your own pace, in a calm environment.

The logical next step after this course

Once certified SSI Indoor Diver:
  • You only need 2 additional open water dives
    to obtain your Open Water Diver certification 🌍.
  • You save time and gain confidence before diving in a lake or at sea.
It is therefore an excellent first step towards "complete" diving, without rushing.
